Jörg Fricke studied economics at Justus Liebig University in Gießen and graduated with a “Diplom-Kaufmann“ degree. While still a student, he ran his own business. After starting his career at Mercedes Benz Germany, he joined a German boutique recruitment consultancy.

From 1998, Jörg Fricke established the Banking and Finance divisions of a large international Recruitment company where he ultimately became a member of the executive board before becoming self-employed and founding Fricke Finance & Legal in 2002.
