We are an independent search firm specialising in the finance and legal sectors. With over 20 years’ experience serving clients in the German-speaking region, we work in partnership with our clients to fill positions from first-line management through to qualified specialists.

Our specialisation in finance and law means that we seek candidates for all commercial and legal roles, regardless of industry. Our clients come from the industrial, financial services/insurance, consulting/advisory and legal sectors.

Approach

Listening, jointly identifying and understanding the client’s needs are the beginning of any successful relationship, while involving all stakeholders in the search, regular communication and speed are the framework. We know the market and have the right contacts thanks to the experience we have gained from numerous recruitment projects since 2002.

We listen carefully when you tell us about your organisation, your business model and what you are trying to achieve by filling a vacancy. In addition to the professional requirements, we pay particular attention to personality traits when drawing up the search profile.

Based on this briefing, we recommend and work with you to determine the best combination of different search methods in terms of time and cost. We start our search in the market with a clearly defined search profile agreed with you.

In principle, our search method consists of the following recruitment approaches:

  • Search for suitable candidates in the Fricke Finance & Legal database
  • Establish direct contact with candidates in the market
  • Utilise the Fricke Finance & Legal network
  • If required, create a tailored advertising package to support the search for a candidate

The individual approaches are combined as modules according to the needs of the recruitment process.

Depending on the search method and position to be filled, we provide you with a shortlist of suitable candidates within approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

The candidates we propose have been assessed in a personal interview in terms of their theoretical qualifications and their operational and social skills. At your request, we can supplement the selection of candidates by carrying out reference checks.

We send you the candidates‘ CVs and other key details such as notice period and current salary, including a description of the candidate’s most important personality traits.

If desired, we support and coordinate the interviews. After each interview, we contact you and the candidate to analyse possible questions, tendencies and the degree of fit with the profile. Based on this analysis, we prepare additional interviews.

We see ourselves as an independent partner in contract negotiations. We act as an intermediary in terms of the contract details and terms, and we set the course for agreement.
