Thomas von Ciriacy-Wantrup studied business administration before starting his professional career in retail operations management. He then progressed to a role in the central finance department of an international retail group.

Building on the professional experience he gained in these positions, he moved into the field of recruitment. After seven successful years in management positions at an international Recruitment company, where he was ultimately responsible for the recruitment business at the Frankfurt and Stuttgart offices as a member of the executive board, Thomas von Ciriacy-Wantrup joined Fricke Finance & Legal as a partner in April 2008.
